The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Argentina 2016 ended Sunday with a thrilling final between the United States and Germany. The United States came out on top, beating Germany 2-1 after extra time. Before the final, Japan had already emerged victorious from their group to reach the semi finals but fell to Nigeria in a penalty shootout. Argentina also went undefeated in their group and defeated Brazil 2-0 in the quarterfinals before losing to Germany 1-0 in the semifinals.

Prediction

The favorite to win the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup is France. They are a strong team with lots of depth and have the potential to dominate this tournament. Canada is a close second. The third ranked team in the world is Brazil, but they will have a hard time playing against teams with strong defenses like France and Canada. Argentina highlights its offense, but they don't have enough firepower to compete with these other powerhouse teams without their star player Paula Ormaechea.

The tournament starts on September 22nd and finishes on October 18th in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It will consist of sixteen teams from around the world competing for first place in their respective groups before advancing to knockout rounds that lead up to the final match on October 18th.
